Terms of Service

These terms apply whenever you use MicroFix Hub. By using the site, you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the site.

What MicroFix Hub is

MicroFix Hub provides single-purpose file-repair tools that run entirely inside your own browser. No file you drop, paste, or type into a tool is ever uploaded to our servers — the fix happens on your device. No account is required to use the site.

Payment

Purchases are processed by Gumroad, our third-party payment processor. By buying an access pass, you also agree to Gumroad's terms of service. We never receive or store your card details.

Access passes

Buying a tool unlocks a 24-hour access pass for that specific tool, tied to the email address you paid with. A pass can be restored on a new browser or device using that email or a saved pass token, but it's meant for your own use — not for sharing or reselling. Passes expire automatically after 24 hours and aren't renewed or extended without a new purchase.

Refunds

Refunds are covered by our Refund Guarantee. Refunding an order revokes the associated access pass immediately.

Acceptable use

• Don't attempt to bypass, disable, or defeat the paywall or pass verification.
• Don't attempt to break out of, attack, or abuse the sandboxed environment tools run in.
• Don't use the tools to process content that's illegal to possess or distribute.
• Don't abuse the refund process (see the fair-use note in our Refund Guarantee).

Your files stay yours

We claim no rights over anything you process with a tool — we never see it, so there's nothing for us to claim. The site itself (its design, text, and the tools' underlying code) belongs to MicroFix Hub or its licensors.

No warranty

Tools are provided "as is" and "as available." We build and test each one carefully, but we can't guarantee a specific fix will be perfect for every possible input file — always keep a backup of your original file before relying on a fix.

Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, MicroFix Hub isn't liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the site or its tools. Our total liability for any claim relating to a purchase is limited to the amount you paid for that tool.

Changes

We may update these terms or the tools themselves from time to time. If we make a meaningful change to these terms, we'll update the date at the top of this page.
